I recently moved my website to this new platform. As tech savvy as I used to be I feel like an aging Luddite. Like my mother years ago I now rely on my own daughter to help me.

She has been a gem.

Musing:

Inspiration for an artist can be elusive and sometimes come in waves. The muse.

We get stuck. We have down times. There is a need to replenish. Excitement is scarce but when it comes and if it lasts awhile it is a wonderful thing.

Often being an artist is more like a job. Some are wonderful at marketing themselves. Many have the support of others financially and spiritually. Just as many, no.

There are prolific artists. Driven. Artists who create every day. A dear mentor in the 90's once said; If you can't be all day painting at least spend time in the studio doing something related to the work. That has been my practice.

We are as varied as the grass and trees.

I will be focusing for a bit on large gallery work for the Summer show in St. John's at the Christina Parker Gallery. I have many small works here in my studio that I would like to find homes for.
